I studied and worked in the science field for about 10 years, I worked in laboratories. Took a mountain biking road trip to Albuquerque in 1995, liked the mild winter so much I canned my plans to go to Cali and stayed here in Albuquerque, specifically Albuquerque's North Valley.

OK, so once I started to settle in, I decided that for work I'd try to turn my hobbies into businesses. At the time, and until this day, I am a big fan of dogs, so I started a dog training and care business, still dabble a bit as a hobby. Then, because I am an even larger fan of kickin' it by the grill w/ some old and new friends drinking some great local microbrews, I started to make sausages for my own consumption. I'd take the sausages to a cookout and would be asked where I bought them and I would reply that I made them. One thing led to another and I found myself selling at one of the local growers markets 3-4 markets a week until I found the right place to lease.

After sweeping the sausage category 3 years running at the Fiery Foods Show, 4 years at my location and the help of my customers, here I am, thanks!!

I'm working on some marinades and spice combination for e-commerce, one step at a time and soon you'll be able to buy: Joe S. Jerk, Joe S. Curry, Joe S. Banger, Joe S. Cajun, and other Joe S. mixtures.
